There are no words… simply poetry in motion.
When I watch something like this, it lends understanding to my diminished productivity, as I escape to the garden purely to indulge my enjoyment of the beauty that holds me enthralled. *Smile* Even though the detail displayed in this video escapes my human eyesight, it is enough just knowing that it’s happening all around me… to tickle my imagination, and inspire my gratitude for the incredible miracle that the Earth is …and the amazing wonder of Nature and the perfection with which it interweaves and co-exists… with all.
Thank-you to Jamie Dedes of The Cat’s Meow for bringing our attention to this video, which is a MovingArt™ short by Louie Schwartzberg and was presented at the TED awards. I know lots of my Cat Loving friends are going to enjoy both.
When I was a young girl living in a small town in Botswana, I remember the Spring Butterfly Clouds, after the first rains… and how incredible it was just to stand and be in a cloud of soft yellow white butterfly’s. This is the first time I have seen a video that captures a ‘cloud of butterfly’s. *Smile*
I applaud any who endeavour to capture the beauty and wonder of Nature in photos and movies, I stand in celebration of those who do it so incredibly well… and I hope that both the reality and art is available long into the future for all generations to enjoy.
Louie Schwartzberg and his team have my standing ovation!
Celebrating the moment with joy,
